About us

Karlstad Swecamp Bomstadbaden is a four-star family camping resort with 260 camping lots, 8 self-catering year-round cottages and, during the summer season 29 camping cabins, apartments and rooms, totaly 156 beds.
The camping resort is beautifully situated on the northern shore of Lake Vänern, with one of the finest sand beaches of the region, "the Riviera of Värmland"
You will reach the city center of Karlstad in 10 minutes by car.
One of Sweden´s biggest shopping centres with i.a. IKEA is only 4 kilometres away from the campsite.
At our campsite you can just relax with nice swimming in the Lake Vänern or you can join in at the local activities, The campsite is a perfect starting-point for day excursions to other tourist attractions in the region.
The surroundings will inspire you to nice walks and within 1.5 kilometre you will find one of Sweden´s best recreation areas with running tracks etc.
Bomsta Baden was started in 1927 and still a family business witch guarantees a good service.
